Buying Petsmart Seaweed is cool if you are rich. Where do you guys get your Nori? I went over to Super H Mart and holly cow ... They have dry, seasoned, regular, premium, "all natural", and some I never knew what it was because I could not read it:p

Meijer, you can get it cheaper at an asian grocery store but its too convienent while I'm shoping at Meijer for ? 2.30? for 10 sheets.

Do you shop at the one by Naperville Rd. and Boughton Rd.? How do I know which to pick up?

I shop at the one on Randal in Geneva. Unless you go to an Asian grocery store, there is usually only one brand to choose from "Nagai's" but read the ingredients to confirm it only says "Dried or Roasted Seaweed." It cannot say spiced. Been feeding my fish with it for 2 years. They love it. When you look at it, you'll realize its EXACTLY the same as the package at the pet store. It even has the same machinary lines through it that occur during packaging.

The H Mart is like a big asian mall. I'd say they had maybe 50+ bags to choose from lol. So dry or roasted works, right? Thanks for helping me out.

you can go to the asian grocery store for nori. Nori however, is green. My tangs only eat the purple seaweed at petsmart. Do they sell purple seaweed at any grocery store?

i go to Chicago Foods on kimall and belmont. next to the highway. they got tons of cheap nori and cheap clams and mussells. also the best buy fresh sashimi. :)

I get my green roasted nori at meijers like Ed, and I get my purple unroasted and an all natural/organic health store. The unroasted is supposed to be much more nutritional than the roasted stuff that is much more commomnly found, and IME it is also about 4X the price.

hey joey, there is a korean grocery store near me.
1 block west of foster & pulaski.
50 sheets is something like $5 i think?
you could try that.
