so ive had it for about 2 months and ive noticed that when i feed it my melanaraus wrasse takes some of the food out. does anyone think this could be a problem? also i have an onyx clown for about a month and it doesnt seem intrested in hosting it will that change

u should try using to photo trick to see if it will work. also better to feed your fish before u feed your other coral.

what is a photo trick. i have been feeding my fish prior to the nem but i feed my fish pellet and i think the wrasse just likes the mysis to much. i dont think it takes all the nems food but i want to make sure it isnt a problem. i was hoping the clown would host to keep the wrasse away

tape a picture of a clown hosting an anemone on your tank for the clown to see and watch. it work perfect on my clown.

It took about 3 weeks for my clowns to host my sebae anemone. I did use the photo trick for about a week before they started...

photo trick worked for me too. Wrasses are asses...

I haven't tried this trick yet, sounds interesting though
Some Wrasses! :) not all

If the anemone gets healthy, hungry and large the tables might turn IME....... with this species over 9 years. Decide what you want right now. Return or trade one or the other.

I ended up getting rid of my melanarus b/c it took food out of my corals all the time, even when it was so full it couldn't eat it. He was beautiful, but a jerk.

lol i love that fish. i recently put some nice new zoa frags in and i guess it didnt like where i put them so he actually picked up both frags and moved them to a new rock
