Well if it attached then leave it be, it will go where it wants or needs to be.
I was always under the impression that both sebae's(H. Crispa and H. malu) prefer a sand bed, Phender's and Bradley's comment was the first I've read of Crispa's being photo'd on rock in the wild.
My crispa's have always planted in sand bed next to or woven through rocks, and only climed rock when lights were weak.
Yours is very different from Malu's I have seen in color, the purple tips do look like a typical Crispa, but the ringed tentacles very much look like a Malu, and I keep seeing malu colors I haven't seen before.
Either way it is pretty, and don't stress on the expelling of waste, that is common.

maybe im just paranoid but im getting worried about my nem. i think he has mounted to the rock and sand because he hasn't moved in a few days now but most of his tentacles have been all shrunken. only a few are extending and blowing in the current. here is what it looks like anyone know is he is health looking or not?

It looks to be in pretty good shape to me. You will want to keep the water parameters in check. Have you had a chance to get that nitrate down a bit. For a newly acquired anemone, you want to keep the nitrate as low as possible, preferably undetectable. Also, what is your specific gravity? You want that to be in the 1.025-1.027 range (natural seawater strength).

Looks perfectly fine and where it should be, at sand bed.
There are two kinds of Sebae's, H. Crispa which gets huge, like 2' in diameter, very long tentacles, and H. Malu, which I'm pretty positive is what you have(I personally think that is a nice score) which only get about 10" in diameter and shorter tentacles, and IMO have brighter colors.
I have a Malu right now for the first time and it is turning out to be my favorite nem for a mixed reef.
Keep pics coming, I'd like to see how it holds color.

well here is my update. after 2 days of being latched in place he decided to unlatch and move about 6 inches to the left to a different rock. he stayed there for a few hours then went back to where he was yesterday. he isnt latched but back where he was.
