Purchased a Sebae a few weeks ago and for the first few days he looked fine with where I placed him and even ate the food I gave him. He has since been blown out of the holes that I place him in and ends up shoved under a rock or in a corner upside down every time I try to move him back into a decent position. Should I just leave him be wherever the current pushes him or try to reposition him? It's definitely the current moving him and not himself. Whenever he is in one of these awkward positions he is all shrunken up and doesn't appear to be eating either. Any suggestions??

all I was told was that it is a Sebae anenome. It was a bright white w/ purple tips when I got it (still is). my tank is 55gal w/ a 40gal sump (about 75gal total vol.). 4x65w PC lights. Established for 8-9 months now. Parameters read normal as I did a water change on Saturday. This problem existed before the water change of 25+ gallons. no worries about the powerheads as of yet, I haven't seen him move once on his own since the day I got him. What do they look like when they die?

I think the anemone is most likely an Heteractis crispa. Many come to LFS bleach white. This means they have lost their symbiotic algae. Also, what are your nitrate readings? Any phosphates? Both will affect them negatively.

Those aren't going to be enough lights for a sebae long term. It being bright white is a very bad sign -- it is bleached. While they can come back from that, it is the exception and not the rule. The lights you have aren't going to be enough for a sebae.
What is the temp and salinity?
ok so I got home from work not long ago and I can't find my sebae anywhere. I had moved him to a lower flow area the other day but even there he seemed to get blown out somewhat. I'm guessing that he got blown out of his spot sometime today and is probably back behind my rocks. Do I need to be worried? Should I move some rocks around to find him???

not to be a downer, but the nem probably wont make it. When I first saw a sebae, I thought it looked awesome. That was until I found out that is was close to death. I had one in a tank for about a week doing the same type of things. It eventually died. If the nem somehow makes it, you need to get stronger lights (MH's) to keep it happy.
