Sebae Anemone Question

Reef Moss

New member
Hello,

I have haver had my Sebae Anemone for 3 months purchased at the LFS. He was very white (bleached) I feed him once or twice a week and he has . a clown that is hosting in him. he has been turning darker which I think is good, but his overall size has been fluctuating larger and smaller. His tentacles stay inflated for the most part. What do you think of how he look in the pic.

I appreciate your input.

Looks very normal to me.
Tentacles seem fatter and stubby, but if it eats, and sticks, I am not concerned.
I have had mine look like its dying.....only to fully extend days later.
Use caution when feeding, they "eat" light....you can feed but I only give a squirt of frozen brine or Mysis once per month....I have seen people kill their nem with to much feed....their digestion is real slow....and chunks of food on a regular basis is not normal too them

How old is the tank? How do your corals look? IME Sebae Anemones can be kind of tricky. Buying a healthy one is key. (kind of like an Elegance coral)

Still has a bit of coloring up to do, but looks good so far.
Agree small foods like mysis are best, couple times a week, as color comes back it will be able to make use of light
