Sebae keeps eating Oscellari

I have a small sebae in my nano. So far, it has eaten 2 small Oscellari.
I had 1 small Osc., then later added the sebae. The clown never took to hosting. It stayed at the top of the tank near my return and power head. Weeks later...no clown. Searched all around the tank in case he felt like jumping, but no body was found. Bought some pre-made squird cubes from my LFS. Sebae never took to eating them, that I noticed. After a few weeks, I purchased another small oscellari. This one, did the same thing. Hung out at the top of the tank. I tried feeding the sebae the last week, and it didn't take to eating. Around tuesday, I notice the oscellari is gone, and the sebae looking mighty plump at its base. ***?

Any idea why it keeps eating clowns?

bleached condies and sebaes look similar. If you accidentally got a condy that would explain why it's eating your fish. I've had the same two occels in the tank with my sebae (cripsa) for over a year and a half with no problems.

Just an idea.

Without a picture, it would be hard to tell. When you do have a camera, it's best to include pictures of the underside as well. The verrucae (I still don't know if I spell that right!) can tell a lot about a nem type.

Good luck!

If it's eating your fish you should be able to see the bones. The anemone will digest 95% of the fish, then disgorge the scales, gill plates, bones, etc.
