I just bought a Sebae Nem and when i put it n my tank the flow kept pushing it around all over the place. I found a nook to put it in and it seemed to stay but when I LOOKED ABOUT AN HOUR LATER IT WAS GONE, I FOUND IT AT THE BOTTOM UNDER A ROCK AND IN LOW LIGHT, WILL IT MOVRE BY ITSELF OR DO i NEED TO MOVE IT? sORRY BOUT THE CAPS BUT i DIDN'T NOTICE TIL TOO LATE AND i AM TOO LAZY TO RETYPE IT ALL..lol

What color is it?

What size tank?
What lights?
What are your current water parameters -- with numbers please
How long has the tank been set up?

it's white with blue tips, 125 gallon, 8 T5HO(currently 4 10,000k day and 4 actinic, all 54 watt but will be changing bulbs to add 2 Blue + and a purple to replace 3 of the actinic or maybe 2 actinics and one day), alk 9,calcium 460,ph 8.3,salinity at 1.025,ammonia 0,nitrates at 15. Have a maroon clown in it. tank is just set up but I upgraded from a 90 I had for 6 years and just moved rock over last sat. but had water in tank for 3 weeks prior to move and all levels were good so I moved the rock. I cleaned all the rock in fresh Saltwater first blowing off and debris and built up detritus.

The anemone is a H. Crispa. It is starved and bleached so under the best conditions it is possible it won't recover. In addition, your tank has been newly assembled, so although the rock is old, the balance of the tank is still sorting itself out. This is bad even for a healthy anemone. Keep the water clean and hope for the best. If it attaches somewhere try to feed it some mysis shrimp. That's all you can do.

On a side note, the amount of time the water has been in the tank doesn't matter. It's when you add live rock or live sand that matters. And anemones will do best in as much white light as possible.

I checked water this morning, here's the numbers...amonia...0,nitrates..between 10 and 15,alk...11,ph...between 8 and 8.5,salinity..1.026, only problem with water is phsophate was at 1.5 due to old rock still leaching it..I'm just waiting on a pump to hook up my phosban 150 reacter. I already tried to feed it some shrimp, a little piece of scallop, and some flake...don't know if it ate enyhting tho' the bubble tip is attahed and seems fine so far. Guess time will tell.

Yeah, phosphates should never go above 0.1 EVER or you will have trouble with a sick anemone. Really, they should be below 0.03 if possible.

the bubble tip is attached and seems fine so far. Guess time will tell.

Why would you add another anemone if the first one isn't doing well?

it was ok, and my maroon wouldn't go near it so i got the BTA for the clown fish... It was in a spot for alittle bit but moved again but not by it's foot, just from water movement!...My phosphates weren't that high 2 days ago they have doubled

Half of 1.5 is still 7 TIMES too high! And if your BTA has let go of the rock it's starting to go downhill also. You should seriously consider finding a reefer with an established tank to keep these anemones until you sort this tank out.

The bubble is doing fine eating and still attached, the Sebae is not gonna make it...I shouldn't have even bought it but I wasn't thinking/ My bad and REST in Peace SEBAE! I
took it out before it screws up the rest of the tank ..I have a phosphate reacter and I'm addressing the high phosphate level! it says 1 on the api chart

sounds like you should really do some more research before hand, and sort out your system before killing this Sebae.

I have wanted a nice crispa for several months, but will never get one because my tank is a 60 cube and have kept it to my two BTAs.....practice better stewardship.
