Scott, was good to see you again. The tank looks freakin awesome!!!!! I hope your class enjoys the donations and will enjoy watching them grow..... glad I came out to this one!!!!!!!!
 
Thx so much for putting this on Scott! It was a lot of fun and like Rich said, nice to put faces with names.
 
I'd like to add my "thank you" as well! The frags I purchased (from kase, I think?) are open and thanks a million for the chaeto and the poci frag - that's open as well!
 
There are alot of very nice people in this hobby. Glad to me some new people today. Thank you Scott for hosting. The middle schoolers are very fortunate to be able to enjoy your "work".

I was humbled today by the generosity and kindness of my fellow reefkeepers today.

Thanks to all those who came. The day was a blur for me, as I got to talk to so many great folks.

Thanks to Paul, Rich, Henry, Kien, Gennadiy, Mel, and Chris for their generous donations today. Believe it or not, I was having trouble finding room in the eight foot tank for frags!!

Thanks to Kat for coming and painting her beautiful reefscape today. It was incredible to watch it come alive as the day progressed.

I was thrilled with the turnout of reefy folks today, some new to the hobby, some cagey veterans, and every flavor in between.

I have a feeling that I'll be suffering from permagrin for quite some time! :D

I'll post pictures of everyone's generous donations early next week. Again, an incredible variety of beautiful corals...

Scott, thank you sooooooooooo much. What a nice place to meet (and I agree, put faces to names) and hang out. You have a beautiful set up....your students are so very fortunate to have you.

I also want to thank you for providing me with such a great spot to paint! I truly had a blast. For those of you who didn't make it, this is what I completed and raffled off (with a portion going towards the classroom):

was a beautiful day for a good roadtrip. thanks again scott. just wish I could've found someone to work for me; god knows I tried. scott and greg lmk if you guys have any issues with the corals. I've got more of both candycane and the frogspawn.
 
Shoot! I showed up when everything was pretty much over. At least I got to oggle the school tank a little! It looks great!! And Kat's painting was beautiful as well!

Then I had a fit of shyness and ran away without introducing myself to everyone :)
