Not only has there been no sand trade like this for several years, the original organizer started another forum and attempts there to organize a big one sort of fizzled. I got sand from it once and didn't use it (reeked bad). Great idea but seems to have run its course.

Your screen name is very familiar as well. I need to start a thread about what happens when you 99% ignore your tank for 3 years.... after a few week's attempt at recovering a previously 99% ignored tank for 2 years.
