Fellow Members,

I am Shabbir Ahmed hailed from Bangladesh and I have just placed an order for a 48 inch by 24 inch by 18 inch tank with 48 inch by 18 inch by 18 inch sump.After proper cycling I will opt for a Skimmer so Please enlighten me on which brand of skimmer should I opt for and apart from LED lighting which Lighting System I can deploy for a marine reef tank such as T5 ??? As I am a newbie into this hobby so please let me know some useful links on marine reef keeping.

Reef octopus is a good brand skimmer was for lighting it will depend what you plan on keeping t5 are a good light to start with as for links check out the stickies at the top of this section. Also check out bulk reef supply for your equipment good luck happy reefing

I have basically the same size tank and have been looking at the Vertex Omega 150 or the Avast CS1. Not sure how eay it is to get things shipped there but the Avast is made in the USA, the Vertex in China (or possibly Germany.)
