These LTA's I got don't seem to attach to anything and occasionally float in the water stream. This one sometimes spins in one location like this for hours.

Yes; you see it 100% of the time whenever you put a sand anemone into a tank without sand. I'm not even sure that M. doreensis has the ABILITY to attach to bare glass.

Additionally, your anemone is starving - hence the shortened tentacles with wizened ends. You can expect the tentacles to continue to shorten until they are stubs, and then the anemone will die. I don't think it will feed while it is still in a free-floating state.

Any way you could add some sand for it to dig into? Some people have been successful with planting their sand anemones in containers of sand - segments of wide PVC pipe sliced and capped, or something similar.

By the way, that's a beautiful video :)

Could you please explain this part for me.

Do you man the greenish looking LTA that has what look like pinched tips?
I circled it in the picture:

Yes. The tentacles will get shorter and shorter and the tips will look almost dried up - you can see it all over this particular anemone. It is my understanding that a starving anemone actually consumes itself for energy. I suppose it is the same with humans :)

Point is - this is a sand anemone. Get it in some sand, and it will settle down and start eating. Problem solved!
