I just purchased a Seio M620 Pwerhead to replace my Aquaclear 350. I needed more flow in one section of my tank. I am notiicing very lilttle diffrence from this powerhead and my aquaclear. The aquaclear is rated at 350gph and the Seio is rated at: 620gph. The seio is fully open?

Did I get a DUD, and if so, how good is MarineDepot w/ returns?

The SEIO is adjustable from what I hear. Make sure it is fully open. Also, unlike other powerheads, the SEIO moves a lot of water at a much slower velocity. That might be why it seems worse also.

They don't take returns. They have you do all the work. They will sell you another one and if the Dud is REALLY bad they will give you a credit !

I agree completely. It is almost freaky. The seio has a really wide spread. It is great for corals that need a lot of flow, but cannot handle direct flow. I think if you give it time you will notice a difference in that area of your tank.

Ronhjr: Marine Depot will be most happy to refer you to the mfr. You see, this is done so that "you can get replacement parts quicker". The mfr. will discuss with you if your pump is REALLY defective. If so, you will get yourself some new parts so you can disassemble it and fix it yourself. They will also apologize to you for any trouble it has caused you and ask that you contact them for any future questions or concerns. If this is too much trouble, you can simply throw the pump away..........problem solved.
