Seio

Well I couldn't help but plug in the 620 that Ben donated today and all I have to say is WOW these things are impressive. I think 2 or 3 of these in a 75g would be plenty of flow for most corals. Another nice thing about the 620 is the low amount of power that they use (1/2 of what a MJ1200 uses with twice the flow).

mod it mod it mod it
it will fit on the lip of the 20L

iI will be upside down so you'll have less chance of the vortex, and you can point the thing anywhere you want while hanging from the rim. You won't need those stupid suction cups. I may have already drilled the hole too. :D

Like I said, I think all of the parts are in there. Let me know if you're missing something.

It looks like everything is in there. I looked at the mod and it will not work with this one. The L bracket that they show on the first step will not fit into the ball piece. I'm sure I could get it to work though but I didn't want to cut up any of your brackets.

Wait, I know what you mean. Turn it 90 degress and force it in there. Then line up the hole from the back and drill through it. Once the screw is in it will stay in place.

They definately used a larger model in that thread, but it will work on this too.

I had to cut my piece to get it to fit onto the ball bracket.

Mine will still get the vortex sometimes when the water level is down when the main pump is shut off.

So do you think your going to get some seios? Ive got two 620s in my 75 and don't think its much flow at all for corals. Im getting two seio 1100s to add to the 75 in hopes of getting the amount of flow I want. Plus im getting a 620 for my 36.

Why don't you put the 620s in your 36 and get what you really need for the 75.....?
Just thinkin' here...:D

I dunno. I think im going to compare prices around a few sites. Right now the 2600s on hellolights for only $73 are pretty much the best deal.

Im leaning twards the 2600s. Ive seen them before and the only bad thing is that they are huge in size.

Well Ive got $136.07 worth of stuff on bigals. Bucket of salt, phos test kit, reactor, media, calcium test kit, small maxi-jet for reactor, and liquid calcium. I think thats a good deal. The salt bucket is $$28.69 plus $13.43 for shipping. Which is still cheaper then PSP prices. They want $65 for a bucket. So ill have around $160 to spend on seios for the 75. Two 2600s would be $147.90 without shipping.

Andrew after seeing how much flow these 620's put out I really think that the 2600's are going to be WAY too much.

I dunno. With all this customizing going on, why don't the manufacturers produce the set ups the way you want them?
