Selecting the type and amount of sand

Next up in my build process is selecting the best amount of sand and what type.

Reading a lot about it the CaribSea Aragonite Special Grade seems to be the overall choice. Too bad PetSmart is not running any sales now on it. I also read that mixing it with some crushed corals gives it a less uniform look. Is this something you'd do?

My tank will be (shipped today and I can't wait) a Reefer 350 with 75g of DT. I was thinking in getting 40 pounds of the Special Grade and 10 pounds of the crushed corals: https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/fl-c...PHhA_aPSsD5owM6ES_WZBggx4sOgQPToaAlcQEALw_wcB

I would skip the crushed coral..
Special grade is good size though..

It seems I'm out of luck, I am checking everyday but as of now they have the same price as BRS.
