Sept meet/party guest list

Ok lets see I am going to get some food like on Friday and would like to know how much to get. My Dad and Uncle grow a couple acres of sweet corn and it is ready now so bring your corn eating teeth. So far for sure we have.

Ron and his better half coming (limpit)

Jason and his better half and one pumpkin (jmkarcz)

We have a few maybes and I will get some extra stuff but so far its not looking like a very big party. Oh well we will have fun anyways. If you can make it please post here. Lets all come. :eek2:
 
My hubby said we could come. He can drive lol.

What time did you plan on having the food and stuff?
I can bring something like beans or should we each bring our own food to grill? I don't remember what you said lol so will check the other post.

I know Michelle said she was gone this week but wanted to come on Sunday.

Ok I read the other post again so editing as usual lol.

Your pretty much having everything but we can bring a dish to pass. Is there something you want me to bring in particular or are beans ok. I could do a casserole or something to otherwise.
Time says food 1 or 2 pm. I'll prolly come more around the 2 pm lol.

Ok, thats sunday afternoon right... I'm going fishing for the first time in 4 years on saturday...

I'l bring something good... besides my wife and child.

Let’s say we start cooking the burgers around 1:00 PM on Sunday September the third. We put them in a slow cooker after they are done on the fire with some kind of juice the wife makes to keep them nice and toasty them they can be eaten any time. I am going to get the burgers, hotdogs, buns, condiments, corn, and some refreshments. If you want to bring something else you’re more than welcome. Bring the family, dogs, cats, pigs, whatever you want there’s lots a room. And if it rains I have a big shed to eat in we might do that anyway.

I just through the Saturday thing in case someone wanted to come and campout for the night or just couldn't make it on Sunday so that is still open if you want to do that.

But after months and months of planning it comes down to the main gathering at around noon on Sunday, eats between 1 and 2 and stay as long as you like hopefully we are all off on Monday so stay till Monday. After Monday no one will be here so it will get pretty boring.
 
Yeah I reread its Sunday which is fine. Sounds like more people can make it that day anyway. Dunno why I thought Saturday.
We will come in the afternoon Sunday not sure what time but will try to be there by 2pm. I will bring something prolly beans.

Did you know I have a potbelly pig named Bacon? lol
Last time we brought her up north to a sparnfarkle was pretty funny lol but we wont be bringing her. Shes been sick on and off all summer and I think she's gonna die. Shes about 14 now so just think old age is setting in. Not the easiest animal to transport either lol.

Kiwi if you bring the puppy my daughter would love it not to mention me lol.

Wish we could make it :( Already did, but now Kass is bringing her beans :(

But, must go to the lake this weekend. Is the last big weekend, and also need to use my truck to get my Dad's boat out until next Memorial Day. LOL, and may be coming back home with a chocolate lab. That would make it worth it anyway :)

I sure do wish I could make it, but after work saturday morning I'll be bookin-er up north to be with the hubby for the holiday weekend. Will be thinking of the party on sunday at 2! :D
 
Jess Jess Jess what’s more important a weekend getaway with you hubbie or eating burgers and corn at my house. :lol: Tell the old man that he can come to maybe he will like that and don't forget to tell him about the free food.

Scooter you have a pretty good excuse if that’s the only truck your dad can find. :lol:

Oh well we will be missin you guys, you have fun too.

Well, it isn't the ONLY truck he could find. But, when mentioning maybe not coming, it didn't go over well with anyone since it's an annual event.
 
Oh. I posted in the wrong thread I guess !!!

Connie and I may make it now. Please don't plan any extra food and such, since we aren't sure yet, but since we likely wont be going to the lake we can make the meeting instead :)
 
Cool, There will be plenty of food anyway. I come from and old farm family and you know how we are. :lol:
 
I'm back from vacation, and I will be there tomorrow! How long does it take to get there from Appleton, about an hour? I don't have any pigs to bring unless you count Pablo, he's a little plump right now! :)
 
Nellie, It takes me 45 minuits when I get on 43 when I come home from work so I would guess it will be a little more than an hour. I don't really remember what it took when I came to your place. Don't forget your corn eating teeth.

Now lets get the rest to come.
