The purpose of the demonstration is to show everyone how easy and cost effective it is to create your own food. Your fish and corals will love you for it also.

No one needs to commit to buying anything.

We just wanted to get an estimate on the number of people interested so I know how much stuff to bring.

If you want to try a sample, it will cost you a buck or so.
When I did this at a CORA meeting, none of it went to waste.

All the ingredients are natural, from the sea.

Well...looks like I won't be making it...hopefully will be in Millwaukee picking up a 120g system! :D I would still like some food...KevinOhio said he would pick up for me...hopfully see you all next month...

The ? was asked earlier should we bring something to put the food in?
Just guessing you won't have to since they have been supplied at similar presentations in the past, but it would hurt nothing to put a box of ZipLok freezer bags in your car, so if they forget, run out, or whatever, you can run out to your car and save the night.

A idea if this food is freezable.... When I freeze homemade fish/invert food, I set it on top of a couple empty ice cube trays and wiggle it down a bit. That way when it freezes, there are grooves to make breaking servings off easier.

Are we bringing "real food" to this fish food meeting? Or would too many people be grossed out?

The club supplies chips, snacks and drinks. I think you just need bring yourselves. It might be a good idea to have a cooler in the car if you plan on buying raffle tickets and hope to win some livestock to take home. :)

I plan on bring a small piece of egg crate (5" x 5" or so), and a large zip lock bag. I'm going to press the food into the egg crate, put the piece of egg crate into the zip lock bag, and when I get home...just throw (OK, "place") the bag in the feezer.

In the morning......Wella! Food cubes!

MMMMMMM.....food cewbbbss
