Anyone else coming and can't decide what to bring, could use some kind of vegetable dish like green bean casserole, or maybe dinner rolls. LMK.

Lawman Rob- all you have to do is attend a meeting and get with the treasurer as far as the dues are concerned. You don't have to join right away if you don't want. Just come to a meeting and see if our little group would be something that you would be interested in becoming a part of. There used to be a sheet that needed to be filled out with a little bit of information on you and your tank(s). I am not sure if that is still a requirement or not. Perhaps Eddie (El Presidente) can chime in here.

Sorry for the delay in getting this out. Moving apartments, including four fish tanks, and having no internet = long delay. This is my first minutes; please correct any errors with content or form.
In Attendance:
Trimax, Devin +1, Seth +0, Olivia, Knox_Legend, SteveW +1 (briefly), NoThreePut +1, Bluestarfish +1, Redawg +1, Seased, LawnmanRob +1
2010 BOD was announced:
trimax (Eddie) = Presidente, Spongie (Seth) = Vice Presidente, MacClellan (Joel) = Secretario, omreardon (Olivia) = Tesorero
Appointed Positions:
Runner (Scott) = Web Master, Bluestarfish (James) = Frag Swap Coordinator, PlaneJane (Janie) and Digidana (Dana) = Cheerleaders, Devin Wolfe as DevinWolfe = Culligan Man Water Specialist, Knox_Legend = Keg Master (note: these last three are jokes).
The meeting itself was informal. Folks spent a lot of time gawking at Janie's new and beautiful 75g reef aquarium and uber-slick LED fixture. Food was great. Several new members were present, so everyone introduced themselves, their tanks, maintenance and upkeep habits, and any comments or questions they had. We discussed getting a phosphate meter for the club, but no action was taken. Janie also mentioned getting a Brightwell product representative to one of our meetings, a la Avon lady, to discuss their products and possibly give out some free samples.
Next Meeting: October 16 at Seth's house. *Halloween Meeting* and LPS Fragging Demo. Several things will be raffled off: 2 tickets to Ripley's Aquarium. BlueWaterTropical Gift Certificate, and possibly some Acan and/or Chalice frags from Seth. Note: you must be in costume to be eligible for the prizes.
