Seriously... do my clowns ever sleep?

Doesn't matter what time of night I come downstairs, my false percula clowns are in the bottom front corner of the 56 gallon swimming together in place. We have the lights at night go on "moon light" rather than turning off entirely. Maybe we should have them off altogether for a few hours?

They are happy campers during the day and don't seem out of it or stressed or anything, but I know the bigger clown (our first) used to sleep in the biOrb behind a rock. He would flit his tail every few secs to stay in place but he was definitely resting. Now they are defintitely more active even if they do stay in one place next to each other.

Thoughts?

mine roll in there anemone all night, I think it's a form of rest for them. I saw a picture of a guys clowns. They were on the bottom of the tank and looked like they passed out there. Didn't know they ever did that.

No anemone in my tank, but they do hang in the mushrooms sometimes. But they just kind of flit around in this corner when I see them at night. Makes me wonder if they are insomniacs!

MY sabae clowns when i first introduced them to my 20tall, would wedge themselves sideways under the rocks and one had wedged itself between the glass and a rock and i freaked out cause it was the first night they were in there and i thought they died but when i turned on tank light to make sure, they swam out all dazed and confused like you would do if someone did that to you. a Month later the have moved some sand around to make their own little area now.

Mine used to sleep against the overflow sideways doing that. Now they host and sleep in a huge hammer coral and just kinda wave/roll/swim in the flow inbetween the heads.
