Set up PIN on P3 now can't delete it

How do I get rid of the security PIN number I set up on the "extras" menu. I want to get rid of it but when I enter old pin, then blank for new pin i get an error.

I posted this on the Aquariumcomputer.com forums for help but have not heard back.

I have pIII and firm ver 5.04
