Setosa chalice problem?

Trying to figure out what is going on with my Setosa. Have had it for about 3 months. Woke up this morning with what looks like tiny white / blue balls growing on it in one spot.
I tried to get a decent picture, but it isn't the best. Other than waking up to this, this morning, it has been doing great.

could be mesenteral filaments I have a chalice that gets annoyed and has mesenterals ball up on surface occasionally

Not sure about the balls, but I'm thinking way too much light for a chalice.

Fyi, it's a montipora not a chalice. Does it blow off? Could just be sand/debris.

FWIW, a Setosa is one of the easiest corals I've kept. Very undemanding, but it just takes time for it become a knarly piece. GL.
