Setting Up A 20L

Hey guys, I have a 20 Long I was thinking of setting up with a pair of clowns and a anemone. I was thinking a 4 bulb retro hood, an Aquaclear 30 HOB filter, and a powerhead or two and I'm good on equipment? Then a pair of osc., and maybe a yellow watchman goby or something. What do you guys think? Sorry, I'm sure this is a vague/noob style question, but I'm just curious, lol.

You're gonna need a heater, and you'll get more mileage out of a HOB protein skimmer than you'll get from the filter.

And you'll also be better off if you set it up 6 months before adding the nem and get in a habit of doing weekly small water changes. You should be able to add the fish before the nem if you want movement during that time.

These are my thoughts, take them as you will.

Oops forgot about the heater. 100 watt Hydor (I wouldn't recommend them btw, they're reliable as far as swings go, but I have two and both are set wrong, "84" is really 78, that kind of thing). I used a third live rock in the cycle, so I'm good there. Is there any reason besides just letting things settle to wait the six months for the anemone? Are they super sensitive or something? And I already had the Aquaclear, I'll definitely look into a smaller HOB skimmer or something though.

Six months is the recommended minimum so your tank can become completely stable. Yes, in general anemones range from moderately sensitive to "super sensitive," as you put it. Some species are a lot more forgiving than others. In that small of a tank, I would only recommend a BTA. And Brad mentioned, a protein skimmer would definitely be advisable unless you want to make large water changes weekly.

Hey, I have similar tank w/ similar goals....LR, YWG, and 2 false percs, CUC already well established for 2 months. What is recommended minimum lighting that is easy on heat (I live in PR), relatively inexpensive,so I don't need to buy a chiller?
