Hi all,

I'm about to set up a 2x2x3 high cube (may go nearer to 3X3x3)

The idea is it will have a BIG central lump of rock with an anemone for my pair of Onyx Clowns (have them already in the sump from my old reef)

Tank will have 400W, 3 closed loops for high flow and be hooked up to my 200G sump tank.

Live stock will be VERY low...just the clowns, shrimp goby pair....and not much else.

The idea is not to pretend a whole reef lives in that one little space.....instead the look is as though i have taken a single 2x2 chunk of a reef (with the nem) and only the stuff that would be around it - in otherwords, i dont want 20 different corals all in the same space - i want a more natural look.

So....any ideas of surrounding corals considering the tank/light/aim.........or any thoughts in general!

How bout a bio-type of tank? This is what I've thought about doing.
so you have a pair of onyx percs, usually come from the soloman islands. You could research what types of corals, inverts, etc live in and around that area and create your tank with as much or as little of that stuff you wanted.

I've thought about doing this but I gotta figure out where my chrysopetrus clowns come from
