Settling Alk Used for dosing???

I just mixed up a batch of baking soda that i am going to use for ALK for dosing my tank... I noticed that it is settling .. has anyone been through this before?

what to do to keep it from settling? Keep a little pump in the container ?

It can be the toughest stuff to get mixed. Be nice if you could use a paint can shaker for it. Can try to warm up the water a little and then continue to shake the snot out of it. I try to get it mixed in half gallon of water and then add in the other half.

I mix it with ro water and get some settling. I dose what's dissolved and add tank water to the lees and dose them. Warming the water can definitely helps.
