Sex change in adult scribbled angelfish

Thanks dmorty and thRoewer.

What woud be the best choise for me? my lfs has a 4" male for sale.
By that male and get a pair with a smaller male than female or try to find a small female so my big female will change sex?

If you already have a larger female I would be careful with a smaller male. Your best choice would then probably be to get either a smaller female or even better an larger male.

BTW: I just googled about pairing and spawning behavior of angelfish and posted links to the found articles in this thread:
Pair and spawning behavior of Angelfish (Pomacanthidae)

You might be interested in the last article I found:

If it were me I would get a small female or a juv even. Get to watch the fish grow and it's much easier on your bank account

Cost is of course a good argument for a smaller.
Though in my experience the acceptance rate is higher when the larger one is added later.
If you add a smaller one I would recommend to catch the established one and let them get to know each other in a neutral tank. Then let the small one first into the DT. Add the bigger a day or two later.
