Sexing a Blonde Naso?

This might not help all that much...

There is someone on here, that has a pair of them, and I believe that they are male and female. I think he was able to tell which one is which. I THINK that has a 400 gallon build thread (( most likely in the large tank forum. I want to say that his user name has "chevy" in it, or something similar.

From what I understand, there's no way possible till the get big enough to see streamers or not. Usually around 4-6" in length. Males have streams, females do not.

If there's a better way, Id love to know.

Quote from Blue Zoo Aquatics:"Naso Tangs with streamers are usually males. Streamers can begin to show when the fish is in the range of 6” â€"œ 9” in size. It is impossible to determine the sex of a Naso tang prior to the tail streamers showing. The only way to ensure the purchase of a male is to order a XX-Naso Male, with Streamers."

quote from animal-world.com:"Sex: Sexual differences:
The male of this species will have trailing caudal streamers or filaments."
