Sexing banded pipes

I got these guys for my 300g reef, they are getting along just fine and hang out together most of the time.

But Im wondering if they are a male female pair or not. How do i sex them?

The only way I could tell them apart is when the eggs showed up and I knew that one was the male. Once you look for a unique mark on the male then you know the other is a male.
If no eggs show up you probably have two of the same sex but I don't know how to tell what sex.
