Sexing Naso tangs

Red Dragons!
I have a naso now that is about 7 inches long. It does not have any signs of streamers, so I assume he is a male right? Is it old enough/ large enough to have streamers by now. I want to add another naso of the oppsite sex, if they are smaller how do I tell the sex?
 
Is there any other way to tell besides the streamers? I want to make sure I have a female and not just a male that is not large enough to get the streamers yet. It is about 7 inches long, I would think that would be large enough.
 
I have a Naso that is around 10-12" and has no streamers. We have had it for almost 3 years now. Was around 6" when we got it. I
 
I've seen nasos larger than 7" (10-12") that are just starting to grow the streamers.

According to Hawaii DLNR statistics, nasos reach maturity at an average length of 9.5" and an age of ~1 year. These are only average figures and can be quite variable (espec. with captive fish). But it might help you make an educated guess.
