kimoy,

Roger is away in Europe until the second week of September so you may not hear from him until then, check the sticky at the top of this forum.

Something similar happened to mine. It stopped spinning and I opened the cover and when I took the impeller out, the shaft came out too. There's also what looks to be rust in there.

How can I get it replaced, Roger?

Yeah, my shaft is rusty too! Should I be concerned about my livestock and rust poisoning, etc???

Also, now that the shaft on my 6025 is rusty, is breakage imminent? Anyone have any experiences?

Hi Buddyboy,

The rust will have no toxisc effect, please PM Roger regards the rust for replacement.

Graeme

Kimoy, I sent the pump August 16th, it shipped by UPS, tracking shows it was left on your front door Aug 20.

roger,
i got the pump, the wife found it and put it somewhere i could not find but i have it already.thanks! my problem now is putting the cover in, the power cord on the new pump is round and bigger then the old one which is flat, so i can't close the cover of the pump.

Yes, they changed cords and they simply router the hole back deeper on the cover to accomodate the cord, the plastic can be easily filed back, I use a dremel witha 1/4" sanding drum when I do this here but you can use a sharp knife or a small file.
