Sorry but I didn't know that cyno killed sps that fast. You sure it was not something else? How did they look bleached or RTN

I do not mean that cyano killed my corals instead and a number of reefers have confirmed that red in the radion encourages cyano growth

I am not sure that I buy that the red encourages cyano. I have seen it grown successfully with white, blue, and combos without red. It still has more to do with nutrients and flow imho.

Any case I have changed to use your graph cakeman

Just watch the intensity... I am hearing people say that they can't go high intensity in their tanks. I am only high intensity for a few hours a day though. Good luck

Hello, Everyone I have a 92 corner(i know painful), I move from AI to Chinese TaoTronics(waste of money after 3 months died), borrowed T5s from a friend...now finally after reading from all of you, I bought a Radion Pro..I installed it at about 10-11 inch from water line..I have a Mac computer ...can someone please help me with start to end, as I am not really good with technical stuff. I m sure I would need to acclimate....so can anyone please help me create settings for me....i would really appreciate it.

good morning everyone , ive been following this post for quite a while and also a proud owner of the radion gen 2 .. its 8 inches above my 40 gallon cube..26x26x24 and have been playing around with its graph choices and that is were I run into problems.... choices... lol....it would nice to see someones graph that has been tried and true over a cube.. my tank is fairly planted with softies , lps , and a couple of sps.. and once again if given choices I seem never to be satisfied.. so that's why im asking.. take away my choices and ill be fine , as as you all know you can nuts trying different graphs.. so please ....help thanks in advance

I am in the Hershey area. I am not sure what you might be running in your tank. My tank is a 24x24x20 cube. I would use the acclimation mode. I run at 90% for a few hours a day.

Couple questions for you guys. I have been running t5/mh with the mh on for 6 hrs and t5 for 8. Now I will have the radions going for 12hrs. In my mind it seems to long. Is this ok due to the fact that its ramping the intensity up and down ? Either way your still putting light in the tank. Since its on for 12 hours is this why people put cloud cover in ?

How do you get the cloud cover to work? Since I have my lights on acc mode I went into demo. It never really did anything. I did go into layout to get them into a line opposed to a square.

Hey Cakeman, I am in Upperdarby PA, I have a 92 corner tank, so ecotech recommended that i should go with a pro at 10 inch hight, thats where i m running it, cant seem to figure out the right settings...its been three days since i m running corals are still not opened fully yet,,,so I may need you help...please

What lighting were you using previously? Not familiar with the dimensions of that tank. What are the dimensions? What settings are you using?

hey Cakeman, so initially i was using AI Sols, that was a fine light then, i need some money...so i went to a stupid route of TAO TRONICs, man what a mistake it was, corals didnt like that and lights died after four months, then i had to borrow T5, so I read all you guys comments and stuff, then ordered myself Radion Pro, they suggested I only need one and I can hang it at 10 inch above water level. I got my lights this Saturday, then I switched from T5 to Radion Pro and running it on your settings, but I changed the intensity to 30 percent and running acclimation at 50 percents for four weeks, corals are not opening up still and light doesnt look as good as i thought i would..so maybe you can help me tweak it or something.

oh yea another thing u asked, dimensions...odd dimensions, but i m estimating the area i need it to be cover is like 36x36x36, I maybe wrong...but lets assume thats what it is...so what should be the settings...and the depth of the tank is about 18-20 inch..from the water level..

What corals and top, middle, or bottom placement? Not sure that 1 Radion pro will cover that large of an area. My tank is only 24x24x20. 30% of what program? Shoot a screen image of your graph from ESL with the individual colors displayed.
