Well most sharks are really reef safe in the fact they do not eat coral. Some may eat invertebrates. But it is a bad idea. They eventually will out grow your tank and due to their size can break corals or knock them over. They also are messy eaters and can foul your water..
ditto... no way i'd do this on an animal care level (tank size) nor a water quality level
IMO... sharks are best left in the ocean or in large public displays
(of course there are some people with deep pockets that are seemingly putting large displays in their homes these days... where are you people finding all of this money )

they get way to big to fast and in the long run I would say they would do more hram then good. They are reef safe but all the feeding and swimming around could knock over large rocks and corals.
