BRUCE
Name's Bruce. It's all right, I understand. Why trust a shark, right? So, what's a couple of bites like you doing out so late, eh?
MARLIN
Nothing. We're not doing anything. We're not even out.
BRUCE
Great! Then how'd you morsels like to come to a little get-together I'm havin'?
DORY
You mean like a party?
BRUCE
Yeah, yeah, that's right--a party! What do you say?
DORY
Ooh, I love parties! Parties are fun!
MARLIN
Parties are fun, and it's tempting but--
BRUCE
Oh, come on, I insist.
August Meeting at Mako Shark's!!
Sorry. Bruce is my Hero! "Why trust a shark, right?"
Ah, sheer poetry!
Oh.... and if you've ever wondered why my av is "Mako Shark II"?
It's a double entendre rooted in Corvettes, the Mako Shark II was the 1968 concept and styling for "Corvette", a small swift (naval) warship.
Mako's are also the fastest Sharks in the water! Even the Great White cannot rival the Mako's speed. Scientists have measured mako sharks at speeds of up to 31 miles per hour. The mako can even outswim the speedy great white shark, which averages only 25 miles per hour for its top velocity.
