I've aclimated a 3 inch freshwater silver tipped shark (columbian catfish) to full salt. Doing good for about 3 weeks now Just thought i'd share.

kool! ive seen some that were like 1.5 feet big. when i tired, i had better success throwing them into saltwater than acclimating them slowly.

What size tank do you have it in? and what process did you use for acclimation??

I hope it doesn't grow too fast! hahaha It's in a 46g bowfront. I drip acclimated for 2 days strait (1 drop for every 2 seconds,) bagged it then floated for about 45 mins to get the temps even.

Wow - that's patience!

We cycled our tank with a pair of black mollies. The male died the first night but the female went on to have babies and lived a couple of months. Not as cool as the shark but still fun to watch all of them- and a very inexpensive way to cycle.
