Sharks

Shark - what type?
Show tank - how big?

Shark = big mouth with big teeth = large infrequent feedings of meaty food = spikes in ammonia = need for rapidly adapting high capacity biofilter. Rapidly adapting high capacity = rapid procuction of nitrate.

I think, personally, the "difficulty" is in the need for a LARGE tank..... subsequently that large tank has problems assocaited with it....namely water management on a large scale.

It would be nice to know the species and how big the tank is before we jump to conclusions about how hard they are to keep. Different species have different needs.

I just say that - sharks are suited would aquarists that are inexperienced with SW tank. They need nearly perfect water qualities & conditions.

Other than -it really depends on which species your looking at. as to the individual needs for that species.
