what does the furan 2 do for zoas? Is it used as part of the dip process. I use revive in a bowl of tank water with a small powerhead for 10-15 minutes, then a rinse in a bowl of tank water. Should I be doing something else for zoa baths? I do the same with softies. Should a bath with melafix be included in a softie bathing routine? Are furan2 & melefix a preventive or only needed for sick corals?

Go to Google an search " furan 2 zoa dip " ... You will find a very good thread on R'2'R- Dipping Zoanthairans.. That will help you the best to understand what to look for and how to treat!

Furan-2 is the API dip right? Just confirming as I looked it up on Amazon and says it is for fish but I will also try to find that thread on r2r.
