She's become mean all of a sudden.

I've had the same 2 percula's since I stared this hobby 12 years ago. They survived multiple moves and some pretty bad mistakes. Over the past month or 2 I've noticed the female harassing the male more so than usual. Today I noticed the male is starting to get pale. As I was checking it out the female bit the other ones tail. Whole damn thing in her mouth, I thought it was over for him. So what gives. The only thing that's changed is they are in another new tank. They've been in there for the last 6 months though and this just recently started happening.

Thats wierd, Im not sure why two clowns who have been together that long would turn aggresive towards one another.

Did you add an anemone, cuz my clown got possesive/agressive when i added an anemone. got over protective and agressive to anything that got close it, crabs, shrimp, and the other clown. even with the hammer coral he gets crazy.

Nope no anemone. Nothing new in the tank actually. They could be matting, although they never have before, and I wouldn't think it would be so aggressive that the male is getting pale.

Im starting to have the same issue with my Clowns. They have been in the same tank for nearly a year and have been paired up for the past 2 years. for the last 2 weeks one has become very aggressive but only towards the other clown. The clown thats getting harassed as become skinny and hides a lot.

I haven't seen the crazy level of aggresiveness lately, but she still does harrass him. No eggs either. :( so I have no idea what was going on. Maybe it was that time of the month for her.
