I hope you feel better soon, George! A nasty bug is going around down here as well--5 of my friends have missed school these past couple days because of it.

Tonight I'm going on a behind the scenes tour at the new GA Aquarium. :D

oh kayal!!!!!!!!! I'm so jealous!!!!!! You are so lucky!! I would love to go on a tour like that! Are you going with your reef club?

I'm better now, but kids are still sick, and we are getting mor snow tomorrow. I just want Spring to be here!

Yes, it was with my local reef club. I will send ya pics once I get some ready. :) The tour was awesome!

You should come down here; it's 65 today and 70 tomorrow!

Ahhh , I haven't got to go there yet. They are talking about our Reef club going on a behind the scenes tour also. Not sure when though. It would take us about 4 hrs. to get there.

Glad you got to go Kayla :)

Amanda, Sorry to hear that you all have been sick, hope you'll be feeling better soon :)

Ok I need advice. My anemone decided to move, now it's in a place I can't reach to feed. If it doesn't get food, will it move? Also, it moved to a cave type area, no light. Why would it do this?

Amanda

Did you change anything that would have changed the water circulation in its old spot? Any signs of something pestering it? Keep an eye on it and lets see some pictures if you can.

here is our BTA with Mrs. Clown.

Amanda, it may be splitting - especially since you feed it a good bit. I would leave the rock where it's hiding be for awhile, and two should emerge soon enough.

It could be splitting then you will have two, one that you can trade with me and the other for your tank.

I changed things around a little and moved a piece of my pink zoa's to the nano from the 90g. The maroon clown decided to use the zoa's on the left side for his host. I already have some coraline algae growth on the back right wall, and in some other area's, so things are going pretty good.

Sounds like it is getting ready to split. That is what mine does when it is getting ready to split. Feeding them daily makes them split sooner than you may want them to split. I only feed mine once per week now. I would just leave it alone. If it wants light it will move. Mine always split after attaching to the glass. Sometimes they can find a rock that has a piece on it that it uses to cut itself in half. I'll try to post some pics later of mine splitting on Christmas day.

Getting ready to split? Are you sure? It's so little right now, just a baby it'sself, it's like, teenage pregnancy.

RJ, great pics! I'll take some pics today as well.

LOL, Teenage preganacy....
...you feed them...you nurture them...then they up and do that to you....omg!!! Sounds like it needed a break from it all... I'm sure everything will work out fine, either way.
John

Well, I don't think it's splitting, according to the people on th eanemone forums, I"m actually starving it. Not the right food I guess. So, I orderd some food on-line and it will be here tomorrow. I hope it makes it!

Amanda, I rarely fed my anemone, and it grew like kudzu on Miracle Grow. Seriously. Your lighting isn't bad either. What have you been feeding it?
