Should I always have nassarius to let me know if somethings dead?

On my main tank, if a snail dies, I know because its swarmed by nassarius and bristles. So if something dies out of view they will take care of it. Was thinking on my other tanks that do not have any nassarius or bristles, what happens to any snails if they die behind the rocks and out of view? Should i always keep nassarius in all tanks?

I have found that my hermit crabs are just as efficient as swarming.

Usually when I see them in a circle it is not good news.

Was mainly wondering if nassarius(and bristleworms) should be staples in tanks. I know alot of people would say bristles for sure, wondering if I should scoop some out of main into new tanks and put nassarius in. Have the usual CuC crew in there with a sand sifting star and a tiny hermit crab somewhere in there...

Nassarius snails are excellent sand cleaners and keep the bottom clean and "churn" the bottom. Highly reccommended for white sand.

To me, crabs are simply trouble. I do not keep any.
