Should i be concerned..

My torch stung the base of my bonsai.. And every few days it seems as a little bit of tissue dies off.. Should i be concerned? Is this stn? Also i never really seen the polyps out.. I seen some sweeper tentacles bit thats about it...

looks pretty good to me..
i rarely see bonsais with major polyp extension.. I'm sure it happens for some but ime, its not the norm.
i wouldn't be concerned..

worst case scenario if it starts getting worse should i frag it ?

Hm.. I guess so... But don't jump the gun.. I'd only frag it if you see fresh, pure white skeleton showing.
I really doubt that will happen.. The frag really looks perfect to me..

I got a monti that drop in a carpet anemone and it took me a few min to get it out. It didnt die and healed perfect.

thanks everyone , i will keep an eye on it. i like the frag and don't want to lose it. Hopefully it will color up for me also.

I would just observe a few days. If it gets a lot worse, maybe consider superglue over the dead edges but that's only if necessary.
