Should I be worried???

Ian

I <3 Corals!
I put a new maxima in my tank about an hour ago and now I notice its expelling its byssal thread. My other maxima has done this before and its just fine, Ive had it for 9-10 months, and it shows new growth. Should I be concerned about the new one?? Im pretty sure that isnt a sign of acclimating to the tank... I watched it @ the LFS for 2-3 months to make sure its healthy. Can anyone lmk why it's doing this??

here you go... Thanks for your time...

DANG how many clams is that now you need to setup a raceway and try your own farm. Where did you get these guys and how big are they?

LOL I lost count, I think 26. I am trying to catch up to Charlie Davidson, he has 30 some last I heard:D. The wife is putting her foot down, no more clams. Funny thing is I do live on a 160 acre farm.

I purchased them from www.totallyexoticcorals.com the green one is a little less than 1.5" and the black one is about 2"
