okay i have an AWSOME looking ebili angel fish BUT hes in my 5 gallon tank for now

i picked him up for free in a package from a buddy( he gave me a mated pair of tomatos, yellow tang sixline and angel) i had to take all of nothing...so i took all

i am switching my tank saturday to a 75rr, so im thinking...would it be worth it to throw him in the 55 and see if he picks corals? how much damage could he do in 2 days 3-4 days tops?

thanks for the imput!

depends on what you're willing to risk. if you don't care that it picks at corals, then godspeed. Otherwise, I'd get him to someone with a FO system. It's likely he'll be a trouble maker in a reef setting.

I think they likelyhood of him picking is much higher with other members of the genus. I have had one and picked on corals from day one. If it were me, i wouldnt do it.

hmm thanks for the advice guys i didnt know if the risk vs reward would be worth it for even 3days but u guys are right its not worth it haveing him pick at my corals! thanks guys for helping me out again!

You can always take a chance. BUT, as someone who's made that mistake...when the fish starts eating your coral you want to have a STROKE!!!

It's not the fish's fault, it's yours.

They, notoriously, are nippers, so no surprise if it nips. The difference is......Can you handle it???

hahahah thanks cully i was just thinking about doing it for the couple days while i siwtch over just bc hes such a awsome looking fish i mean the colors on this one are NEON, and if he picked then he doesnt go in the 75 and i get ride of him but it seems like its not worth the risk
