Should I get some more anthias?

I've been debating this.

If you don't know the story, long story short I ended up with one male lyretail anthia and two threadfins.

It's only a 55, and for some reason or another I lost both the threadfins. The big male lyretail is doing fine, though he is a bit big for my tank.

Is he cool by himself or should I try to get a couple more lyretails? Will he live just fine alone?

55g is a bit small for a harem of lyretails IMO.
If your male is eating he may be fine.
I think you are/were planning an upgrade, if so I'd wait till you do.

I am planning on a 120 upgrade. So I'll just wait. He eats just fine and seems pretty comfy. I just didn't want to loose him, so if ya think he'll be ok I'll just wait.

I've had a single male lyretail anthias in my 90 for a few years now, it'll be fine. In smaller tanks, groups don't seem to work.
