Should i remove my skimmer?

i have had my tank running for a month and a half now... i am using penguin 350 biowheel, penguin 660 PH, and a Fisson nano skimmer for circ. and filtration. i have 35lb LR and 40 lb LS in my 20 H and i am wanting to know if removing my skimmer would be a good idea. this thing produces an insane amount of microbubbles and the water in the cup never has any coloration to it. i guess what i'm trying to ask is will the HOB filter, LR, and LS provide enuff filtration? BTW, do microbubbles cause algae?

i would remove it only because thats not a very good skimmer
get something better

chuck the skimmer and get something more expensive that will actually work.

Small tank, forget the skimmer and scrap the biowheel as well; be sure to run activated carbon 24/7 and replace it once a month.

Keep up on a minimum of 10% water changes at least once monthly and you should see better growth and more life in your tank.
