should i remove shrooms/gsp?

when i first started buying frags,i bought a rock with some shroom polyps on it,and also a rock with some greenstar polyps.they both are at the point of spreading,just noticed a small group of the shrooms have let go and are trying to reattach on a different rock,actually found one free floating in water column.the greenstar polyps have spread just a little to larger rock.
i think i am shooting for sps dominant tank although i do have a clam,hydnophora which i have been told is actually a lps.shrooms and gsp will both overgrow corals correct,so i guess i kinda awnsered my own question huh.lol

Best bet would be to just get a large rock and place it away from everything and let the gsp grow on that...

I just stripped about a square foot worth of GSP off of my rocks because I failed to isolate it. It spreads like a weed!!
