Should I up the dosage of Cipro?

Today is Day 4 and will be Night 5 since the start of treatment.

Here is before and after the water change from this afternoon.

I am using 5 gallons and 125 mg Cipro currently with water changes every night and sometimes during the day depending on the way he looks.

I am wondering if I should up the dosage to 250 mg or leave it how it is?

He seem to look better. I am not sure you need to increase dose. Increase Cipro will bleach him. Consider chang emed to Septra DS if he is not better800/160 mg per 10 gal

Ah ok i will not increase dosage, thank you Minh! Just checked on him and he looks like he did before the water change this afternoon. How long do you think I should wait to consider switching to septra (by tomorrow or wait 7 days)? Also is ok to test with Cipro for 9 days (was using old 10 year old cipro for first two days)? And lastly, can septra ds be ordered online?

You can order it on line. Why don't you order it, once you have it, if he is not clearly inproved then change med

Been checking online for Septra Ds (Found some Canadian sites) but shipping is from 14-21 days unless I pay a lot extra for faster shipping (can't really afford that). Do you know of a site that has quicker shipping without a high price for shipping?
