Show Me MH 20K Only SPS tank, Please!

This is my 120(4x2x2) under 250 watt Radiums. I have eggcrate over it right now as I just introduced 4 Anthias. So it is a little dimmer than normal. The soccer ball in the foreground is for reference, it is a size 4.

Thanks for the compliment.

I have 2x250 Radiums powered by a sunlight supply bluewave ballast. A classic combo I would think. I also have 4x39 watt T5 geismann bulbs, (2 actinic, 1 actinitc plus, and 1 aquablue) powered by a hamilton ballast.

Sadly my tank was more impressive prior to having AEFW. I have just started reintroducing acropora in the last 4 months or so, and the few that survived the treatment are still coloring up. The treatment is heartbreaking and a lot of work.

thats awsome tanks i am using 20k plusrites and they work ok but i think i'm switching back to 14k to get alittle more growth.

The lighting is a lumenmax2 pendant with a 250watt radium and I modded on 2 stunner 453nm 6watt 12" strips along with a 1w reefbrite moonlight.

were you running two of them at one point? Looks like you had better color when you had both those lights.

Yes I was running 2 150w MH now Im running 1 250W MH. I was getting some good color with 2 lights but grow was slower. All this will be fixed with my 75g build. I am going to run 2 250w MH and still debating on running 2 VHOs on a 660 ballast.

veloboy thanks, i like keeping lps on the bottom because flow not too strong and lighting not strong too because my photo period 10 hours risk to bleach for LPS higher, yes i like to put acro above monti, it's give me place for more acro.

Is it right if new acropora with 20k will adapt to darker color and if adapt it will turning to brighter colour but need month or more ? This happen to my sps tank now, water parameter, flow and lighting 10 hours a day
