show me your 2 part tanks.

yeah with full balling they use NaCl free salt to maintain ionic balance but I imagine no matter what you have to do w/c's regularly or the salinity will rise too much... skimming wet probably helps a bit too. I'm going with "balling light" which relies solely on w/c's to maintain ionic balance.

Here is mine before I lost half of my SPS during my tank move. I have used nothing but Randy's 2 part on 2 dosing pumps.

How many ml were you dosing of each when you had that system? Thanks Bobby

360 ml's of each. Kept my alk @ 7.8 - 8.0 dkh and cal @ 400ppm.

I dose using Aquamedic pumps tied to my Jr. way cheaper than a reactor and safer IMO.

Here's mine, Only thing ever added is the Randy's 2-part. (Bulk reef supply) Manually dosed, around 3 1/2 cups of each daily....

Not the best FTS, but you get the idea-

i agree, thanks for the inspiration everyone.

Profilux 3 pump doser is on its way from Canada as we speak. Should be nice to fix 2 issues real quick for my tank (stable CA/Alk, and ATO).

I take it your talking about the last picture in the ones I posted? If it's the green one, it's supposedly a M. Spongodas....... But It may be a Confusa... The Confusa I have looks alot like it...

Now now, I don't think we can attribute all these great tanks to just 2 part :-)

I'm sure you also have great lighting, filtration, etc :-)

Nope.....just dose two part and keep lights off and pumps off and no water changes......

Actually on my system I only have skimmer and run carbon 24/7. However, the fuge is 130g with about 250 lbs LR and macro also have a 40g RDSB.

Nice tanks! I just decided to ditch my reactor after down sizing and go with Randy's 2 part. My first thought was that there was no way I could deal with manual dosing so I purchased two dosing pumps. I chose these over the Drew's because they have built in timers and cost the same.

Where did you buy this dosing pump?

How Much of Randy's 2 part are you guys dosing? I have about 240 total gallons of water in a heavily stock SPS tank and need to figure out a dose.

right now i'm dosing about 50 ml's daily... but i have a pretty low demand tank ATM.

To give you an idea, i know Sunnyx doses 110 ml's of each part daily on his 100 gallon very heavily stocked SPS tank....
