Passer, Queen and African angel together.

There are some big egos in that tank. How well do they get along?

They all got along fine, they were in with a few more angels too. I broke the tank down last year but have FOWLR set up now with a Passer, Goldflake, Singapore, Flame and an adult Emperor and they all get along fine. The most aggressive fish in my tank is a 2" Powder blue tang, it bullies my 5" Pink tail :thumbdown

Man, great thread and angels yall!

Hope mines will turn out just as great.

Juvi Blueface recovering from LFS HLLE. Only eats NLS 3mm pellets and nori. Had for 4 months.

Baby Koran, hasn't changed colors at all yet in 3 months. Eats NLS 1 mm pellets, nori, flakes, frozen.

How do you guys keep them from getting hole in the head??? My Emp and blueface have it and I've have 2 large rock beauty and queens all get it when they are together. I figured it must be the sterss of all being together. So far none of the pics I see do any of the angels have it. I sold my 12 inch Emp because of it. Looking for another emp now hoping it doesn't happen again. Fish have all been together for a couple of years now.

There are several theories on the cause of HITH, none of them being comfirm...
1. lack of trace element (low salinity, use of activated carbon, salt mixed etc.)
2. Nutrient due to imbalance diet
3. water condition
4. copper medication
5. parasitic (least likely)

Not sure about stress though.
What u usually feed your angels?

Emperor and ear spot tend to get HITH easily....

I have read that a stray electrical current can cause it too.

I know most of my fish (especially angels) gets it during
1) hypo (7-8 weeks)
4) Cupramine (4 weeks)
