hey guys one of my concerns with cubes is the small amount of space inside the stand, can you guys start posting pics and a small description of your sumps anf filtration methods?

THX...

^^^
Great tanks everyone! keep em comin

I could post a pic, but I don't have much. Under my tank I have a 5-gallong bucket that holds Kalkwasser for top-off (osmolator - you can see the sensor holders in my pic on either side of the overflow box for the remora) my ballast/timer/powerstrip are screwed into a 2'X10" piece of wood that's screwed into the side of my stand. my mag9.5 is actually just behind the back of the stand on the floor - feeding a scwd - soon to be upgraded to a Iwaki 40 RLT, and then switched back to the mag 9.5 when I get an oceans motions - I also have a "tap water purifier" T-eed of of the return line that acts as a fluidized bed filter for some chemi-pure, or whatever the flavor of the week is - I'm considering modifying that for a larger tube and using it for ZeoVit.... but we'll see - maybe i can take a pic tonight.

the only picture i've taken that shows anything under the tank...

Not sure this works but here's my cube pic not up to the ones I've seen here but it's a project in the works. I'm thinking I need to add more base rock and raise everything up. Any critiques?

nope didn't load pic, i'll try again.

Thanks, I should have taken the pic more at tank level to give a better perspective. Maybe I'll try a new pic.

liked my cube so 24" cube so much i decided to get me a "double wide" ... lol . plus, i wanted to bump this to the top! :D

IMO, this is the strategic flaw with smaller cube tanks. my stand is a good example of how not to organize. i'll be looking for ways to redo it next year when i move (unless somone wants to make a real good offer on a complete setup)

i'll post a few new stand pics this evening (dont have any @ work)
right now i have a barr aquatic sump, HOT calcium reactor, return pump + plumbing, light ballast, drivers and controllers for tunze pumps, plus odds and ends. i'm presently working on a way to squeeze in a rowa reactor, and i'm looking to replace my ca reactor in the future, it works great, but really takes up too much room.

Here's my stand. The tank is just being set up. On the right is where my calc reactor will go and I think I'm going to build a shelf above it to hold a fuge that I'll have custom built for whatever size I can get to fit there.

Youââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢re right about the limited space man. I had to go with a separate sump cab just so I could fit everything in there. You can see it at the link below, although itââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s anything but conventional. lmao

It from Envision Acrylics. Its 26 inches long, 23x23. The tank has an overflow that goes into the back area where my equipment will be. Im charging my camera batteries right now and then will have more picts.
