mine is three side. i was originally going to do 4 side, but a 2x2x2 is really too small for that to work correctly.

I agree, 2x2x2 is way too small. Mine is currently that size, and i ran out of space within months... I've added tiers and shelves to make more room, but still not enough to add more goods. I haven't seen any new cubes lately, has anyone obtained new ones or added new items to their current cubes?

i'm batteling a hair algea problem which i'm having a hard time tracing. i have 2 fish in a 60 gallon system (including sump volume) and feed 3x a week.

My 2'x2'x2' cube will be up at the end of august. thats the first chance i'll get to pick it up. I'm going to light it with a reefstard 250 watt HQI double ended hamilton 14k. I'm custom building the stand, and hanging the pendant. i have a cool idea for aquascaping but we'll see how it works when its time. I enjoy everyones tank and look to them for inspiration. I'm converting my nano, pics in my gallery. somebody else get a new tank so we can check it out.

i use the same skimmer. ihave a custom sump from barr aquatic that i think is perfect for the cube. plenty of waterflow, lots of overflow space.
the biggest shortcoming on a cube is internal storage space. i've had to be really creative to get everything to fit.

hmm... one more try...

RamPuppy, How much are they charging?
I am getting ready to order a 24 inch cube from my LFS for $77 and you know they say bigger is better!

What comercial brand (oceanic, lee mar, anything) sells glass cube tanks? I want to buy a 24" cube but the acrylics are expensive ones.

Thanks kmu!
The overflow is behind the rocks. I have a 60l sump under the tank.

Skimmer, Ca reactor, Denitrator and a 25l container for top off water is located under the tank as well.
