I agree completely. It is pretty sad to see, would never even imagine putting one purple tang in a 40 cube, let alone 3. `

Here's my 7.5g Do!Aqua cube

My "cubish" Pentagon. 40x40 on the long sides and approx. 110 gallons. This is day 5 of this tank so it is still a little murky from the never ending sandstorms I have had to deal with. A few rescue frags from here and there and some transplants from the 58 as well as 2 very lonely fish. This is very much a "work in progress" so don't be too brutal. :D

Yikes cbort, keep an eye no that 30g custom acrylic cube 24x24x12T. That looks like it's about ready to blow. That should have really been built with some bracing.

Bracing or not my tank has huge bracing and after 2 years it's bubbled out in the middle panel. Ya acrylic is starting to get on my nerves. As for cborts purp tangs I think he moved them to one of the bigger tanks already. Tryin to remember from an older thread.

They were tranferred to the larger cube. Got them a few weeks before i upgraded. 25.00 each i couldnt pass them up at the time. Thanks for the concern tho! Good to see people always watching out!

Had it setup for over a year. Never had any problems with it. The bow was actually very minimal also. If i go to that size again, i will probably go glass next time tho. That tank is long gone.

Thanks neuwave, you are correct. The tangs were moved to my larger cube. A local group here did a group buy and they had purple tangs for 25.00 each. I could not pass this deal up "knowing i was on the verge of completing my new cube."

There is one thing i like about acrylic, the weight of it compared to glass, besides that i too am getting close to switching to glass for good.

Then no offense, but it was designed/built improperly. A properly built acrylic display tank should have little to no bow at all, even across a large pane... but that's a discussion for a whole other thread ;)
